How do I apply for a position that you have advertised? |

On our Latest Jobs section of our website you will find application forms which can be downloaded. You will also able to send us a request for an application form via our contact email address or by telephoning the Human Resources department, an application form can be posted or emailed to you.

Who is Safe-Hands? |

We are a recruitment agency specializing in childcare and education positions in school, nurseries, children’s residential care homes and private sectors.
We also recruit for various other positions including administration, driving, labourers, and cleaners for our clients who include the Manchester, Bury and Rochdale councils.

How can I expect to be paid after an assignment? |
|
|
The first wage is paid into your bank account on the second Friday of your assignment and every friday thereafter.
PLEASE ENSURE ALL TIMESHEETS ARE SIGNED OFF AND FAXED TO THE OFFICE BY FRIDAY NO LATER THAN 12PM AS THIS MAY AFFECTS YOUR PAY DATE!!

What are the residency requirements for applying for a job with SafeHands? |
|
|
You must be a UK citizen or have unlimited leave to enter and remain within the UK. You must also have three years’ continuous residency within the UK. Exceptions may apply.

No, you do not need to complete a separate application form for each position. On page 2 of the application form there is a section, which you can enter the positions that you are applying for.

Is it necessary to attach a passport - sized photo to my application form? |
|
|
Yes, in order for us to process your application through to completion a passport-sized photo is required.

Can I attach a copy of my CV to my application form? |
|
|
Yes - If you feel that your CV adds to the detail given on your application form.

I have applied for a position; can you send me a Job Description? |

Normally a full Job description is discussed within the Job Description.

I am interested in applying for a job you have advertised. Do you keep a database of people who have already applied once, in case they may be suitable for another vacancy?

No - we do not hold a person's details on a database. Occasionally if a similar vacancy occurs soon after the original application we may contact the person to see if they are interested. We do not encourage people to send in speculative C.V.s.
